SLBC PRAYER MINISTRY
It is the teaching of scripture that all Christians should participate in prayer.  Therefore, Seven Lakes Baptist Church desires to give its members organized ways to obey scripture and minister to others.  Below are listed prayer ministry opportunities.  After you inquire, each ministry area will be explained in further detail so you may make a more informed decision. 1.  PASTORAL PRAYER PARTNERS:  This is a ministry of fasting and prayer geared specifically for the needs of the Pastor and is a one-year commitment.
2.  PRAYER TEAMS:  Each team will consist of two to four men or two to four women.  They will meet at the church and specifically pray for the Sunday services.
3.  SUNDAY MORNING MEN'S PRAYER FOR THE SPEAKER & SERVICES:  This will take place at 8:45 every Sunday morning, except for special Sunday changes, which will be announced.
4.  INTERCESSORY PRAYER:  Two to four men or two to four women will assemble in a designated classroom to pray during the worship service.
5.  PRAYER REQUESTS:  This ministry will consist of gathering & disseminating the weekly prayer requests of the church.
6.  "COTTAGE STYLE" PRAYER MEETINGS:  Special prayer sessions held in individual homes for specific needs of the church.
7.  PRAYER CHAIN:  Establish a systematic way of disseminating urgent prayer requests to the membership at large.
